Dear Faithful People,
 
May the light of the risen Lord shine upon you all. It has been almost one year since I visited Ghana to see the work on the orphanage building, and as of June 2024, the building was almost completed. Through your continuous prayers and donations, and by the grace of God, I can proudly announce that the orphanage-home is complete. The home is now also equipped with basic domestic necessities such as water, electricity, beds, kitchen items, refrigerators, deep-freezers, and recreational items for the children. We are preparing to receive the first group of children later this year, beginning with twenty kids, who are being prepared to be presented by their families.
 
The objective of the home is to nurture, assist and prepare the children through formal education and training to equip them with the necessary skills for a successful future. The orphanage is a non-profit organization solely dependent on the generosity of benefactors and organizations and will be responsible for the total caregiving of every child in the home until they are fully equipped to live a successful adult life. The estimated overall cost for the care of one child for one year in Ghana, will be $1,000.00. This amount covers food, clothing, health insurance, education, recreation, religious facilities and a stipend for domestic workers and assistants. Hence, at least $20,000.00, plus maintenance and growth expenses, is expected every year for the sustenance of the orphanage. The cost will also increase once we are able to accept additional children. We seek to secure at least the first three years of funding to ensure a stable place for the children and prepare for growth. Additional funds raised will be stewarded toward the children’s ongoing needs and growth as well as for new attendees.
