FAQ'S
What kind of care is offered?
We offer children a safe, faith‑filled environment where they receive daily care, spiritual guidance, and the stability every child deserves. Our expanded mission also provides vocational training in practical trades—such as sewing and baking—so they can build a dependable livelihood. For children who remain with family or guardians, the Foundation offers direct support in their communities, helping them stay in school, receive basic necessities, and avoid the dangers of street life and exploitation. Our care forms the whole child in dignity, faith, and hope for a brighter future.
What Ages Will You Care For?
Mary Mother of God Children’s Foundation now offers support to children of any age, recognizing that vulnerability does not end at early childhood. While the home provides a safe, faith‑filled environment for young children in immediate danger, our expanded mission also accompanies older youth and adolescents through vocational training, education support, and community‑based assistance. Whether a child needs shelter, help staying in school, or the opportunity to learn a trade, the Foundation remains committed to walking with them for as long as there is need, nurturing their dignity and guiding them toward a stable, faith‑filled future.
How are the children chosen for assistance?
We welcome and support children who are most at risk—those facing the dangers of street life, exploitation, trafficking, poverty, or unstable home situations. Some children come to live at the Foundation when their safety cannot be secured elsewhere, while others remain with relatives or guardians and receive direct community‑based support, such as help with school fees, food, basic necessities, or vocational training. Each child is considered individually, with prayerful discernment and collaboration with local parish leaders, social workers, and community members. Our goal is simple: to reach the children who need us most and to accompany them with dignity, faith, and the practical support that allows them to build a stable and hope‑filled future.
